After 25 years with CityTeam in various roles throughout North America, God called Dave and Lynn Hunt to join New Generations, the International division of Cityteam. They helped to established the Horn of Africa Mission with the expressed intent of fostering an active commitment to mission outreach by various church denominations in Ethiopia and Eritrea. The primary means was to provide support for indigenous church planters to be sent to unreached people groups.

While focusing almost exclusively on church planting, Dave and Lynn are also helping to initiate and manage partnerships that provide schools, clean water, and small business startups. These become means of access to a community for the purpose of planting a church or building a church already in the community.

The ministry has increased their focus on tent-making, helping church planers to develop the means to support themselves in ministry thus removing the limit of insufficient funds to deploy additional church planters. Dave and Lynn want to lead this new focus with their own example of a tent-making business and so have started a guess house in Addis Ababa as well as...Disciple's Cup.
